Our unique logo was designed by Lupeños co-founder and Artistic Director and Choreographer Ramón Morones (1939-2011).
Ramón was an artist by trade - drawing, painting, and sculpting since his youth.
His artwork is not well known except to friends and fans, but the image he devised that emblemized Los Lupeños has endured the test of time.
The logo was created with pen and black ink in the early months of our group's history and it alludes to movement in El Jarabe Tapatio, the most typical dance from Jalisco.
