In July, 2015 the Cashion Cultural Legacy officially launched a performing youth ensemble, Los Lupeños Juvenil, created from an Academy class that ran for two years prior.

Dancers in this company range from 10 to 15 years old. Los Lupeños Juvenil is taught by Artistic Director Samuel Cortez who rehearses them in a professional environment with special mentoring that prepares them to someday enter the adult Performing Company, Los Lupeños de San José. Juvenil dancers rehearse twice weekly and are expected to balance their school and family obligations as well.

Los Lupeños Juvenil can be seen in throughout the year in local events like Pumpkins in the Park, Happy Birthday San José, Tres Vinos, and the Spring Dance Festival. The also perform alongside Los Lupeños Company dancers in the annual theater concerts and FOLKLOREADA communtiy festivals. Juvenil dancers have had the opportunity to perform as special guests of sjDANCEco’s production of Roots and Wings and the New Ballet School’s production of the San José Nutcracker.
