Why support Los Lupeños Academy?
You may know that dance education is good fitness for the body but it also builds self-confidence, teamwork, respect, and clear thinking. Our folklórico dance classes tie this into culture, traditions, history, and music. Our students build new bridges to their extended families and to their ethnic origins. Offering accessible arts education to the community is now more challenging than ever which is why our Giving Tuesday focus is on funding the Tuition Assistance Program which provides up to 85% aid to families that cannot afford classes for themselves or for their children. This program ensures that nobody is turned away. Los Lupeños Academy has offered this help for several years thanks to the generosity of many individual donors.

How does folklórico dance impact its participants?
We have begun to collecting and sharing stories that illustrate how participation in folklórico dance, whether as a student or as a participant, makes an impact. Read these stories on the Impact page of our website.

¡Muchísimas Gracias!
